Organized in 1987 by Peter and Christian Madsen, Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc. is a full service commercial roofing company. Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing has a hard-earned reputation for personal attention, practical problem solving, safe job site practices and high quality workmanship. The Company has installed hundreds of roofing systems of all types over its more than twenty-three years of existence.
Madsen's extensive list of successfully-completed jobs includes roofing such facilities as the California State Lottery headquarters, Lucent Technologies' distribution warehouse in Rocklin, the City of Sacramento's 9.5 million gallon potable water reservoir and the City of Sacramento's historic Memorial Auditorium. Each of these jobs, and many others completed by the Company, involved large roofs consisting of complicated specifications requiring substantial expertise and skill.
The Company maintains an independent 24-hour leak response service department, with a large staff of highly skilled roofing technicians. The service department is supervised by a full-time service manager with responsibility for ensuring prompt response to customer calls, timely dispatch of technicians and thorough follow up once work is performed.
Madsen has the resources, training and proper supervision necessary to provide superior service throughout the Central and Northern California, Southern Oregon and the Reno, Nevada regions. The Company's staff includes a full-time construction superintendent, a service manager, multiple foremen and crews and five project managers. Madsen's field personnel include a number of journeymen and foremen who have been with the company for more than 10 years. The administrative staff consists of an office manager/human resources director, controller and accounts payable/payroll clerk, as well as other support staff, who work together to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed, appropriate records are kept and required insurance policies maintained.
