CREW Committees

Finance
Manages the organization's finances and budget and assists with annual tax preparation. Responsible for securing sponsorships for all Chapter activities. Committee determines methods of increasing value to sponsors and promotes CREW's sponsors at multiple venues.

Membership
Provides a central resource for membership information and processes and approves new member applications. Actively recruits new members to join CREW Sacramento and CREW Network and responsible for retaining existing members. Oversees production and distribution of annual Membership Directory and hosts New Member Orientations and the Member Madness events.

Community Outreach
Organizes volunteer activities that help women and children in our community. These activities give CREW members a way to form closer relationships with each other and to give back to the community.

Leadership Development
Organizes activities for leadership training and assists Nomination Committee.

Communication
Designs and produces the monthly newsletter and announcements. Maintains website. Responsible for ensuring that the successes and activities of the Chapter are communicated and distributed to the local media, with the goal being to generate press. This committee works with all other committees and the Board to be alerted to noteworthy and newsworthy events in the Chapter. Responsible for the look of all communications.

Programs
Develops and coordinates CREW's monthly luncheon programs. Duties include determining topics and scheduling speakers. Other programs include the Awards Program, Educational Events, California Regional Conference, Golf Tournament and Member Services.

Golf Tournament (Sub Committee to Programs Committee)
Organizes the highly successful annual golf tournament. The committee meets on a regular basis throughout the year to plan for the tournament. Subcommittees are formed to allow many hands to do the work.
